Kaisa hosts writers' day at KHC
Writers, here are more opportunities to publish your creative work!

Kaisa Para Sa Kaunlaran will host a writers' day on May 10, Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to introduce Tulay and writing for it.

Tulay is a fortnightly digest published by Kaisa with support from World News, the leading Chinese daily.

These past 20 years, Tulay has garnered recognition from the Catholic Mass Media Awards for best in in-depth story, best short story, best feature and three-time finalist for best community paper.

Tulay will soon become a weekly magazine.

Doreen G. Yu, editor of STARweek magazine of the Philippine STAR, is the facilitator and resource person for this writers' day.

Topics to be covered include background, history and overview of Tulay, news writing, feature writing and a critique of submitted works.

Very limited slots available.

Pre­registration is required.

Submit via email a sample of your unedited work (maximum of 500 words), with a brief introduction about yourself, to tulayweekly@gmail.com on or before May 9.

Participation fee is P500.

Kaisa will not accept walk-ins or pre-registered participants who do not submit their unedited work beforehand.
